You have probably seen this gorgeous symbol from time to time, but have you ever wondered about its origins?

The Fleur-de-lis is a stylized lily or iris flower that is commonly used as a decorative element in various forms of art and design. It is a symbol that originated in France and has been used for centuries in heraldry, architecture, and religious art.

The three petals of the Fleur-de-lis are often said to represent faith, wisdom, and chivalry, or alternatively, the Holy Trinity. Today, the Fleur-de-lis is still used in many contexts, from representing sports teams to adorning jewelry, and now you can have a vibrant sparkly Fleur-de-lis on your wall in traditional Mardi Gras colors.

Handcrafted in the pacific northwest, this piece features a laser-cut birch backing and authentic and-selected Mardi Gras beads. The batteries for the lights are replaceable. The lights are accessible via a button on the back of the piece, or through the included remote.
